SYNOPSIS: JM Kariuki, a young politician who was vocal and radical, rises through the ranks to become the of the most beloved politician in Kenya. Having fought against the British rule under the Mau Mau movement, he is among the people who form the government but he also manages to be close to the country’s president, serving as his secretary and an MP later in his career. He however meets a tragic end due to his radical approach. This play compares and contrasts the recent events, in the year 2024 with the political situation at JM’s time.
